Click here for the Cancellation + Standby Lesson FormWhat this form does
This form cancels the lesson you select and enters you into the Standby Pool. If you can’t make your usual lesson, that means you might get offered an extra lesson spot if another student cancels or there’s a gap in the schedule. It’s not guaranteed, but the earlier you submit the form and the fewer standby lessons you’ve had that term, the more likely you are to be offered a time. EARLY Submission is the key for Planned Absences: EARLY EARLY EARLY Reason 1: Submitting early means your original lesson spot can be offered to someone else who’s in the Standby Pool. If you don’t free up your spot in time, it’s only fair that you wouldn’t get priority for filling someone else’s. Reason 2: Standby Lessons are offered during the same term as your absence - e.g. if you have a planned absence for Term 4, but only submit in week 5, you've essentially missed out on 5 weeks of possible Standby Lesson times offers. Standby offers are sent by email (or sometimes in person). This system is being trialled, so it might change or be discontinued in future. |
