Why do I need to use the absence forms if I’m going to miss a lesson?
The absence forms are the best way to make sure your request is handled quickly, fairly, and without disrupting anyone’s learning — including your own. It also frees up my time so I can focus on what matters most: teaching you music.
When you submit a form:
Without the form, the system will process your absence as a standard no-show/cancellation.
Why it’s worth planning ahead
It really pays to become familiar with the options before you need them. That way, you can act quickly if something comes up, instead of scrambling at the last minute.
For example, if you email me 30 minutes before your lesson to ask what your options are, I’ll almost certainly be teaching another student — and I wouldn’t even be able to send you the link. The link is already included in most correspondence I send out, including invoices, end-of-term emails, newsletters, and it’s in your lesson agreement.
Everything you need to know is already in the form, so checking it early gives you the best chance of getting the outcome you want.
